Bee Gees合唱團僅存的團員 Barry Gibb ，最近實現了他平生最想達成的一個願望，那就是7月27日到田納西州納許維爾著名的電台現場節目Grand Ole Opry參加了演出，當天他和得過Grammy獎的鄉村歌星Rick Scaggs一同表演，第一首歌唱得是When The Roses Bloom Again但接著唱的是Bee Gees的名曲How Can You Mend A Brcken Heart和to Love Somebody。
Grand Ole Opry是鄉村音樂之都納許維爾WSM電台自1925年開始播出每週一次的一個現場轉播的音樂節目，聽眾還可以到場觀賞歌星們的演出，節目至今已有87年歷史，原名The WSM Barn Dance「WSM穀倉派對」，最早主持人是George D Hay，因節目在一個古典音樂節目後播出，他開玩笑說接著就請大家聽Grand Ole Opry「老大歌廳」的歌吧（相對於高雅歌劇George自嘲鄉村歌曲也很不賴），節目後來就改名Grand Ole Opry了。
這個節目原先還被地方人士反對，他們擔心鄉村歌謠會帶給外地人對納許維爾的錯誤印象，但因漸漸有不少人透過小窗口看歌手們的表演，電台乾脆開放觀眾入場，後來場地亦越換越大。
Grand Ole Opry是世界歷時最久的廣播電台現場轉播的音樂節目，每年有近百萬人去現場看他們喜歡的歌星表演，知名的鄉村歌星如：Hank Williams、Roy Acuff、Randy Travis、Dolly Parton和Garth Brooks等都到Grand Ole Opry去表演過，難怪Barry Gibb要跨界演出，到Grand Ole Opry一償宿願了。
